Description

Elf Moto 4 Racer 10W-50 is a fully synthetic oil from the Moto 4 range for sports four-stroke motorcycles that often run at high revs, including on the track. Its frictional properties are tuned so that the wet clutch transfers power quickly and precisely.

The oil is rated API SP and JASO MA2; the manufacturer states that it exceeds the JASO motorcycle oil standard but cites no motorcycle manufacturer approvals. The additives are compatible with DLC-coated and ceramic-composite parts, and the formulation focuses on heat removal and oxidation resistance.

Typical figures: 17.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 164, pour point -36 °C. Available in 1 litre packs.

Application

Sports four-stroke motorcycles, including track use, that run at high revs and need quick power transfer through the clutch.
