Our own engine oil selection tool is still only on the drawing board, but in the meantime I suggest using the official selection tools for oils and other fluids run by the leading manufacturers: Mobil-1, Castrol, Shell, Aral, Liqui Moly, Teboil, Motul, Lotos.
There you'll be able to pick out oils from various makers that suit your engine, and then make your final choice.
Which brand to pick is entirely up to you. All I can say from my own side is that a good oil is a GENUINE oil, so when I'm choosing a brand, the first thing I think about is where I can buy engine oil with the least risk of getting a counterfeit.
