Description

Eni i-Sigma monograde CC SAE 50 is a single-grade engine oil from the i-Sigma monograde line for naturally aspirated and mildly turbocharged diesel engines. Some fleets use it as a single oil for both diesel and petrol engines. Its detergent-dispersant performance is at the basic level suited to engines of earlier generations.

The oil is rated API CC and API SC and meets the military specification MIL-L-2104B. The data sheet lists no official manufacturer approvals.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 255 mm²/s at 40 °C and 20.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 95, base number 6.2, pour point -24 °C, flash point 251 °C.

Application

Naturally aspirated or mildly turbocharged diesel engines; in some cases a single oil for mixed fleets of diesel and petrol engines.
