Description

Eni i-Sigma monograde HBN SAE 50 is a single-grade engine oil from the i-Sigma monograde line for high-output naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel engines under heavy load. It has a high base number and is intended above all for fuel with a very high sulphur content; the data sheet does not give the exact value.

The oil is rated API CF and API SJ; the data sheet lists no official manufacturer approvals.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 219 mm²/s at 40 °C and 18.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 97, pour point -24 °C, flash point 240 °C, density 902 kg/m³.

Application

High-output naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel engines under heavy load, especially on fuel with a very high sulphur content.
