Description
Elf Moto 4 Road 15W-50 is a semi-synthetic engine oil from the Moto 4 range for four-stroke motorcycles used in town and on long trips, mostly in the warmer months. It is compatible with catalytic converters.
The oil is rated API SN and JASO MA2; the data sheet cites no motorcycle manufacturer approvals. Viscosity modifiers help the oil flow on a cold start and hold a stable film in a hot engine, antioxidants extend its service life, and the friction level is set so that the clutch does not slip.
Typical figures: 17.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 148, pour point -33 °C. Available in 1 litre packs.
