Description

Shell Advance Ultra 15W-50 (SN/MA2) is a fully synthetic oil from the Advance line for powerful four-stroke motorcycle engines, racing engines included. Its base oil is made from natural gas using Shell PurePlus technology (GTL).

The oil is rated API SN and JASO MA2 and is designed for use with a wet clutch. No official approvals are listed; the maker notes in the data sheet that the oil is recommended by Ducati.

Typical figures: 20.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, 149 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 160, pour point -30 °C, flash point 235 °C, density 867 kg/m³.
