Description
Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF is a fully synthetic multi-purpose fluid in the Mobil 1 range for the automatic transmissions of cars, SUVs, vans and light trucks.
It holds no official approvals. The fluid meets Ford MERCON V and JASO 1A; for applications calling for GM Dexron, GM Dexron II, GM Dexron II-D, GM Dexron II-E, GM Dexron III-G, GM Dexron III-H, Ford MERCON, Allison C-4 or Volvo 97340, ExxonMobil recommends it.
Typical figures: 7.4 mm²/s at 100 °C, 36.3 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 176, pour point -51 °C. The fluid is compatible with mineral ATFs and common seal materials.
Application
Automatic transmissions in cars, SUVs, vans and light trucks where Ford MERCON V is required and, on ExxonMobil's recommendation, older Dexron and MERCON fluids and the Allison C-4 requirement.
