Description
Elf Elfmatic DCT-1 is a synthetic fluid from the Elfmatic line for gearboxes with two wet clutches. It was developed together with gearbox and vehicle manufacturers.
The fluid holds official MB 239.22 and Ford WSS-M2C218-A2 approvals. Its maker also lists Magna/Getrag 7DCT300 and Renault DW5 approvals.
Its friction characteristics remain stable throughout the service life, which allows longer drain intervals. Friction is unaffected by the presence of water, and metal parts are protected against corrosion. Typical figures: 5.11 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 147, pour point -54 °C. Available in 1 litre packs.
Application
Wet dual-clutch gearboxes in Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Ford and other vehicles where a fluid approved by Magna/Getrag is required.
