Description
Elf Elfmatic DVI MV is a low-viscosity multi-vehicle fluid from the Elfmatic line for stepped automatic gearboxes. The low viscosity is aimed at gearbox efficiency and fuel economy.
It meets the requirements of GM Dexron VI, Ford MERCON LV and Ford WSS-M2C938-A without official approval. Its maker also lists the JASO M315-1A, JASO M315-1A LV and JASO M315 2A classes.
The list of suitable gearboxes is long, covering Aisin Warner, ZF, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, VW, PSA and others. Typical figures: 5.9 mm²/s at 100 °C and 29 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 154, pour point -45 °C. Available in 1 litre packs.
Application
Modern torque-converter automatic gearboxes for which the manufacturer specifies Dexron VI or Mercon LV, as well as gearboxes covered by the many older ATF specifications on the maker's list.
