Description
Elf Moto Gear Oil 80W-90 is a mineral gear oil for the manual gearboxes of four-stroke motorcycles working in severe conditions. Its extreme-pressure and anti-wear additives protect the gear teeth against shock loads.
The oil is rated API GL-5 and meets the MIL-L-2105D specification; no motorcycle manufacturer approvals are listed. It protects steel and copper parts against corrosion, is neutral towards seals and resists foaming.
Typical figures: 15 mm²/s at 100 °C and 144 mm²/s at 40 °C, pour point -27 °C, density 900 kg/m³. Available in 1 litre packs.
