Description
Elf Tranself Type B 75W-80 is a gear oil for the gearboxes and axles of cars and vans in severe service. It eases shifting in the cold and keeps its efficiency when the unit is hot. The manufacturer does not state the base-oil type.
It meets API GL-4 and API GL-4+, and meets the requirements of PSA B71 2330 without formal approval.
Extreme-pressure and anti-wear additives are combined with rust and corrosion inhibitors, and the viscosity is shear-stable. Typical figures: 8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 137, pour point -45 °C. Available in 5 litre packs.
