Description

Liqui Moly Top Tec ATF 1200 is a JASO 1A fluid made from hydrocracked base oils for stepped automatics, manual gearboxes, steering and hydraulics. It holds no official approvals; the manufacturer lists only specifications it meets.

These include GM Dexron III-H, Ford MERCON V, Chrysler ATF+3, Chrysler ATF+4, Daimler NAG-1, Toyota T-IV, Aisin Warner JWS 3309, Hyundai/Kia SP-III, Mitsubishi SP-III, Mazda ATF M-V, Allison C-4, MB 236.5, MB 236.6, MB 236.9, MB 236.10, MB 236.11, ZF TE-ML 03D, ZF TE-ML 14A, ZF TE-ML 17C, VW G 055 025 and Volvo 97341.

Typical figures: viscosity 6.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, pour point -48 °C. Pack sizes from 0.5 to 205 litres. It is unsuitable for CVTs.

Application

Stepped automatic and manual gearboxes, power steering and hydraulic systems in European, American and Asian cars and commercial vehicles; not intended for continuously variable transmissions (CVT).
