Description

Motul CLASSIC SAE 30 is a mineral monograde oil from the Classic line. It is intended for the four-stroke petrol and diesel engines of veteran, vintage and pre-war cars that specify SAE 30, as well as for gearboxes of the period and for running-in.

The data sheet lists no API or ACEA categories and no car-maker approvals. According to the maker, the oil makes it easier to start an engine after the car has been laid up for a long time.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 11.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 97, pour point -27 °C, flash point 264 °C, base number 1.7. Available in 2 litres.
