Description

77 Lubricants Engine Oil HDX 15W-40 is a mineral engine oil for heavy-duty diesel engines in trucks, buses and vans from Euro 3 to Euro 5.

It is rated ACEA E7 and A3/B4, API CI-4 and SL, JASO DH-1 and Global DHD-1, with official DTFR 15B110, Volvo VDS-3, Mack EO-N and Renault Trucks RLD-2 approvals. It meets the requirements of MB 228.1, MAN M 3275, CAT ECF-1a, CAT ECF-2, Cummins CES 20077 and 20078, DDC DFS 93K215, Deutz DQC-III and MTU Oil Category 2 without formal approval.

Typical figures: viscosity 13.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 138, base number 11.2 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 0.98 %.

It is not for engines with a particulate filter.

Application

Heavy-duty diesel engines in trucks, buses and vans from Euro 3 to Euro 5, including those with EGR and SCR, that have no diesel particulate filter (DPF).
