Description

77 Lubricants Engine Oil HDX 25W-60 is a very high-viscosity mineral engine oil for heavy-duty diesel engines in trucks, buses and vans from Euro 3 to Euro 5 that call for 25W-60.

It is rated ACEA E7, API CI-4 and SL, JASO DH-1 and Global DHD-1. It holds no official approvals; the maker claims compliance with Volvo VDS-3, Mack EO-N, Renault Trucks RLD-2, DTFR 15B110, MAN M 3275, CAT ECF-1a, CAT ECF-2, Cummins CES 20077 and 20078, DDC DFS 93K215, Deutz DQC-III and MTU Oil Category 2.

Typical figures: viscosity 23.7 mm²/s at 100 °C and 241.5 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 122, pour point -24 °C.

It is not for engines with a particulate filter.

Application

Heavy-duty diesel engines in trucks, buses and vans from Euro 3 to Euro 5 for which a 25W-60 grade is specified; not for vehicles with a particulate filter.
