Description

Eni Rotra ATF III is a fluid from the Rotra ATF line for automatic gearboxes and power-steering systems in cars and commercial vehicles. It is compatible with a wide range of seal elastomers.

The fluid carries no official approvals; according to its maker, it meets the requirements of GM Dexron III-H and Ford MERCON. The maker also states that it may be used where Allison C-4 or TES 389 performance is required, although it holds no Allison approval.

Typical figures: viscosity 7.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 187, pour point -45 °C, flash point 205 °C, density 845 kg/m³ and low-temperature viscosity 15,100 mPa·s at -40 °C.
