Description

Aral EcoTronic F 5W-20 is a low-viscosity synthetic engine oil designed to save fuel. It is aimed chiefly at Ford EcoBoost petrol engines, and Aral also lists it for other modern Ford petrol engines, with the exception of the Ka, Focus ST and Focus RS.

It is classified API SN and ILSAC GF-5; it holds no official approvals, but the manufacturer states that it meets the requirements of Ford WSS-M2C948-B.

Typical figures from the data sheet: kinematic viscosity 8.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, HTHS 2.6 mPa·s, viscosity index 166, pour point -45 °C. Pack sizes from 1 to 208 litres.

Application

EcoBoost petrol engines that call for Ford WSS-M2C948-B, other modern petrol engines of the marque named by Aral, and engines requiring API SN or ILSAC GF-5 in a 5W-20 grade.
