Description

Aral BlueTronic II 10W-40 is the updated, synthetic-based version of BlueTronic for petrol and diesel engines in passenger cars and light vans, turbocharged units included. What sets it apart from its predecessor is the API SP rating and the MB 229.3 approval.

It is classified API SP and ACEA A3/B4 and holds official MB 229.3, VW 501.01 and VW 505.00 approvals; it meets the requirements of Fiat 9.55535-D2 without formal approval.

Typical figures from the data sheet: kinematic viscosity 14.3 mm²/s at 100 °C and 96.6 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 151, pour point -39 °C, sulphated ash 1.2 %. Pack sizes from 1 to 208 litres.

Application
