Description

BP Visco 3000 0W-20 is a very low-viscosity engine oil from the Visco 3000 line for petrol engines. BP designs grades of this kind to reduce fuel consumption.

It meets API SP and ILSAC GF-6, and therefore the earlier categories of both systems. The data sheet lists no ACEA classes and no official vehicle manufacturer approvals.

Typical figures from the data sheet: kinematic viscosity 8.52 mm²/s at 100 °C and 44 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 171, pour point -48 °C, flash point 203 °C, sulphated ash 0.77 %.

A 0W-20 grade should only be used where the engine maker permits it.

Application

Petrol engines whose maker specifies a 0W-20 oil to API SP, ILSAC GF-6 or an earlier category.
