Description

BP Visco 3000 10W-40 is an engine oil from the Visco 3000 line for petrol and diesel car engines, described by BP as semi-synthetic.

It meets ACEA A3/B4 and API SP. The data sheet for this version lists no official vehicle manufacturer approvals.

This is a full-SAPS oil (sulphated ash 1.1 %), so it is not suitable for engines that require a low-SAPS oil. Typical figures from the data sheet: kinematic viscosity 14.2 mm²/s at 100 °C and 97 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 150, pour point -42 °C, flash point 206 °C.

Petrol and diesel car engines that call for ACEA A3/B4, API SP or an older equivalent in the 10W-40 grade.
