Castrol MAGNATEC 5W-30 A5

Description

Castrol MAGNATEC 5W-30 A5 is a fuel-economy engine oil from the MAGNATEC line for cars. It is intended for petrol and diesel engines, from Ford and other makers, that are designed to run on lower-viscosity oils.

The oil is rated ACEA A1/B1 and A5/B5, API SN and ILSAC GF-5. It holds no official car-maker approvals, but meets the requirements of Ford WSS-M2C913-C and Ford WSS-M2C913-D.

Typical figures: 10.1 mm²/s at 100 °C and 57 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 167, pour point -45 °C, sulphated ash 1.21 %.

Its HTHS viscosity is reduced, so it should only be used where the engine maker permits ACEA A1/B1 or A5/B5.

Application

Petrol and diesel engines in Ford and other cars designed for ACEA A1/B1 or A5/B5 oils, or for the Ford WSS-M2C913-C and Ford WSS-M2C913-D specifications.
