Description
Elf Elfmatic J6 is a fluid from the Elfmatic line for electronically controlled automatic gearboxes with a torque-converter lock-up clutch. It is also suitable for newer Japanese automatic gearboxes.
The fluid holds an official Nissan Matic J approval; its maker also states approval for the AJ0 and AJ8 gearboxes in Renault cars.
It provides smooth shifting in frosty weather, protection against wear and scuffing, and thermal and oxidation stability over the life of the gearbox. Typical figures: 7.4 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 183, pour point -50 °C. Available in 1 litre packs.
