Description
Elf Off Road 4 Explorer 10W-40 is a fully synthetic oil from the Off Road range for four-stroke off-road and adventure motorcycles that ride rough terrain, in dust and with frequent gear changes.
The oil is rated API SP and JASO MA2; the data sheet cites no motorcycle manufacturer approvals. Friction control prevents clutch slip, viscosity modifiers build oil pressure quickly on a cold start and hold a stable film in a hot engine, and antioxidants provide protection throughout the drain interval.
Typical figures: 13.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 153, pour point -39 °C. Available in 1 litre packs.
