Description

Elf Perfo HDX 400 20W-50 is a mineral oil from the Perfo range for older-generation commercial vehicle diesel engines, both turbocharged and naturally aspirated. It is designed for mixed-make fleets that want one oil for every vehicle.

The oil is rated API CG-4 and SH. The data sheet cites no official approvals; the oil meets the requirements of MB 228.1, Deutz DQC II-05, Mack EO-L, MAN 271 and Volvo VDS. Detergent and dispersant additives keep soot, sludge and piston deposits in check.

Typical figures: 17.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 120, base number 9 mg KOH/g. Available in 208 litre drums.

Application

Older-generation commercial vehicle diesel engines, turbocharged or naturally aspirated, in mixed-make fleets that want a single oil.
