Description

Elf Performance Pro 4000 5W-30 is a fully synthetic low-SAPS oil from the Performance Pro range with reduced HTHS viscosity for the newest on-road heavy-duty diesels. It is to be used only where the engine manufacturer permits this class of oil.

Classes: API FA-4 and ACEA F01. Official approvals: DTFR 15C130, Mack EOS-5, Renault Trucks RLD-5, Volvo VDS-5. The oil meets the requirements of Cummins CES 20087 without formal approval. For Volvo and Renault Trucks the data sheet quotes drain intervals of up to 150,000 km.

Typical figures: 10 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 162, base number 10.4 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1 %. Available in 208 and 1000 litre packs.

Application

The newest on-road heavy-duty diesel engines for which the engine manufacturer permits API FA-4 or ACEA F01 oils.
