Description

Mobil 1 C40 GT 0W-40 is a synthetic oil in the Mobil 1 range, developed through the Porsche and ExxonMobil partnership specifically for Porsche's GT engines that need the C40 GT specification.

The only specification the manufacturer lists is the official Porsche C40 GT approval; no API or ACEA categories are given. According to the manufacturer, the oil is green in colour.

Typical figures: 13.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, 72 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 199, HTHS 3.8 mPa·s, pour point -48 °C.

Application

Porsche's GT engines that require the C40 GT specification: 911 GT3 and GT3 RS from the 991 generation onwards, GT3 Cup and GT3 R, 911 R, 911 S/T, 718 Cayman GT4 RS and Spyder RS.
