Description
Liqui Moly Synthoil Energy 0W-40 is a fully synthetic full-SAPS oil from the Synthoil range. It is designed for petrol and diesel car engines, with or without turbocharging, and for extended drain intervals and high loads.
It is classified API SN and ACEA A3/B4. It holds no official approvals; according to the manufacturer, it meets the requirements of BMW Longlife-98, MB 229.3, Porsche A40, VW 502.00, VW 505.00 and Ford WSS-M2C937-A.
Typical figures: viscosity 13.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 180, HTHS at least 3.7 mPa·s, pour point -48 °C, sulphated ash 1.0-1.6 %. Pack sizes from 1 to 205 litres.
Application
Petrol and diesel cars, turbocharged or naturally aspirated, where an ACEA A3/B4 oil is permitted, particularly on extended drain intervals and under heavy loads.
