Description

Mobil 1 0W-20 is a fully synthetic, low-viscosity oil in the Mobil 1 range, designed to save fuel in modern petrol engines, turbocharged and hybrid ones included.

It holds an official GM dexos1 Gen 3 licence and is rated ACEA C5 and API SQ, SP, SP RC, SN Plus, SN Plus RC, SN, SN RC, SM, SL and SJ. It meets the requirements of Chrysler MS-6395, Fiat 9.55535-CR1, Ford WSS-M2C947-A and Ford WSS-M2C947-B1 without holding formal approvals.

Typical figures: 8.4 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 162, HTHS 2.6 mPa·s, sulphated ash 0.9 %, pour point -48 °C. The manufacturer claims protection against LSPI and timing-chain wear.

Application

Fuel-efficient petrol engines in passenger cars, including turbocharged and hybrid units from American makers (GM, Ford, Chrysler, Fiat), and Japanese and Korean cars for which the manufacturer specifies 0W-20.
