Description

Mobil 1 ESP X3 0W-40 is a fully synthetic oil in the Mobil 1 range, developed together with Porsche for high-performance petrol engines fitted with a gasoline particulate filter (GPF).

It holds official MB 229.51, MB 229.52 and GM dexos2 approvals and is rated ACEA C3 and API SN Plus and SN. For the Fiat 9.55535-S2 specification ExxonMobil recommends it without formal approval.

Typical figures: 14.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 204, HTHS 3.8 mPa·s, pour point -48 °C.

The data sheet warns that the oil is not a backward-compatible replacement where Porsche requires the A40, C30 or C20 specifications.

Application

High-performance petrol engines in modern European cars with a gasoline particulate filter (GPF), only where the maker approves this oil; it does not replace the A40, C30 or C20 oils specified by Porsche.
