Description

Mobilube HD 80W-90 is a gear oil from the Mobilube range for hypoid axles and final drives. It is designed for cars, trucks and commercial vehicles, and for construction, mining and agricultural machinery whose gears are subjected to shock loads and high torque.

The oil is rated API GL-5. The data sheet lists no carmaker approvals.

Typical figures: viscosity 14.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 97; after the KRL shear stability test the viscosity is 14 mm²/s.

Application

Axles and final drives in cars, trucks, commercial vehicles and construction, mining and agricultural machinery operating under shock loads and high torque.
