Description

Mobilube HD Plus 80W-90 is a gear oil from the Mobilube range for heavily loaded manual gearboxes, axles and final drives. It is used in trucks, buses, vans, cars and off-highway machinery.

It holds official Mack GO-J, Volvo 97321 and SAE J2360 approvals. It is rated API GL-5 and API MT-1 and meets the requirements of Scania STO 1:0 and Meritor O-94 without formal approval. It matches the MIL-PRF-2105E quality level but holds no approval against that standard.

Typical figures: viscosity 14.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 103, pour point -27 °C, flash point 210 °C.

It is not intended for gearboxes where the manufacturer specifies a lower API gear-oil category, engine oil or ATF.

Application

Heavily loaded manual gearboxes, axles and final drives in trucks, buses, vans, cars and off-highway machinery.
