Description

Shell Helix Ultra Professional AP-L 5W-30 is a fully synthetic oil from the Helix Ultra Professional line for Peugeot and Citroen diesel engines with a particulate filter, up to the Euro 5 emissions standard. It is also suitable for hybrid cars.

The oil is rated API SN and ACEA C2, with reduced ash content. No official car-maker approvals are listed for it; it meets the requirements of PSA B71 2290 and Iveco 18-1811 SC1.

Typical figures: 10.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, 59.59 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 162, pour point -48 °C, flash point 233 °C.

For Euro 6 diesels with SCR, the maker recommends a different oil from this line.

Application

Peugeot and Citroen diesel engines with a particulate filter, up to Euro 5, where the manufacturer requires PSA B71 2290, hybrids included.
