Description

Liqui Moly Optimal New Generation 5W-30 is a fully synthetic low-SAPS oil for petrol and diesel engines with or without a particulate filter, and for cars running on CNG or LPG. The manufacturer has tested it with turbochargers and catalytic converters.

It carries ACEA C3 and API SP; the manufacturer also recommends it where ACEA C2 is required. It holds no official approvals and meets MB 229.31 without formal approval.

Typical figures: viscosity 11.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 165, HTHS at least 3.5 mPa·s, NOACK 12 %, pour point -36 °C, sulphated ash no more than 0.8 %. The data sheet gives the same figures as for Leichtlauf Performance 5W-30. Pack size 1 litre.

Application

Passenger-car petrol and diesel engines with or without a particulate filter, with a turbocharger and catalytic converter, and cars running on CNG or LPG.
