Description

Shell Spirax S4 ATF HDX is a synthetic Spirax fluid for automatic transmissions in trucks, buses and cars. It is also used in machinery hydraulic systems, power steering and some manual gearboxes.

The fluid holds the approvals DANA-OHTM-ATF 22A-0001, DTFR 13C170, MB 236.93, MAN 339 Type V2, MAN 339 Type Z2, Voith H55.6336.xx, Volvo 97341:39 and ZF TE-ML 03D, ZF TE-ML 04D, ZF TE-ML 14B and ZF TE-ML 17C. It meets the requirements of GM Dexron III-G, Ford MERCON and Allison C-4 without formal approval.

Typical figures: 7.6 mm²/s at 100 °C, 37 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 180, pour point -48 °C, flash point 180 °C, density 847 kg/m³.
