Description

Shell Spirax S2 ATF AX is a friction-modified Spirax fluid for automatic transmissions in cars and heavy vehicles. It is also used in power steering and hydraulic systems.

The fluid holds the approvals DTFR 13C140, MB 236.7, Ford MERCON, MAN 339 Type V1, MAN 339 Type Z1, Voith H55.6335.xx and ZF TE-ML 03D, ZF TE-ML 04D, ZF TE-ML 09, ZF TE-ML 11A and ZF TE-ML 14A. It meets the requirements of GM Dexron II-D and Allison C-4 without formal approval.

Typical figures: 7.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, 34.6 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 174, pour point -45 °C, flash point 180 °C, density 874 kg/m³.
