Description
Shell Spirax S6 ATF ZM is a fully synthetic extended-drain Spirax gearbox fluid, developed with ZF for ZF-Ecomat and ZF-Ecolife automatic gearboxes in buses and lorries, including units with a retarder.
It holds official ZF TE-ML 04D, ZF TE-ML 14E, ZF TE-ML 16N, ZF TE-ML 20F, ZF TE-ML 25F, MAN 339 Type Z13 and MAN 339 Type Z4 approvals. Under MAN 339 Type Z13 the drain interval in Ecolife gearboxes is 120,000 to 240,000 km; under MAN 339 Type Z4 in Ecomat gearboxes it is 150,000 km.
Typical figures: 10.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 153, pour point -51 °C, flash point 240 °C.
Application
ZF-Ecomat and ZF-Ecolife automatic gearboxes in buses and lorries, including units with retarders, where the manufacturer requires one of the listed ZF or MAN approvals.
