Description

77 Lubricants Racing Oil Classic 20W-50 is a mineral engine oil from the Motor Oil Classic line, made on a virgin rather than re-refined base, for classic cars with tuned petrol and diesel engines of early design.

It contains more of the anti-wear additive ZDDP than current API phosphorus limits allow, which is how it protects camshaft lobes and tappets.

It is rated API SG, CD and MS. It holds no official approvals; the maker states that it meets the requirements of Ford M2C101-A, Ford M2C101-B and Ford M2C101-C.

Typical figures: 17.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 122, pour point -29 °C, base number 5.4 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1.1 %.
