Description
Eni i-Sigma monograde HBN SAE 40 is a single-grade engine oil from the i-Sigma monograde line for turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines that work in very severe service or are prone to deposits and wear. Its high base number is intended above all for high-sulphur fuel.
The oil is rated API CF and API SJ; the data sheet lists no official manufacturer approvals.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 14.4 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 105, base number 11.5, pour point -24 °C, flash point 260 °C, density 895 kg/m³.
Application
Turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines in very severe service or prone to deposits and wear, especially on high-sulphur fuel.
