Description

Liqui Moly Touring High Tech HD 40 is a mineral monograde SAE 40 oil, intended mainly for turbocharged and heavy-duty diesel engines whose manufacturer specifies this viscosity grade.

Classes: API SJ, CF and CF-4. It holds no official approvals; according to the manufacturer, it meets the requirements of MB 228.0 and MAN 270.

Typical figures: 15.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 110, base number 10.6, NOACK 5 %, pour point -27 °C, flash point 240 °C, sulphated ash 1.2 %. Available in 20-litre packs.

Application

Mainly turbocharged and heavy-duty diesel engines for which the manufacturer specifies an SAE 40 oil.
