Description

Eni i-Sigma special M 10W-40 is a synthetic engine oil from the i-Sigma performance line for heavy-duty diesel engines in demanding conditions, particularly where the manufacturer specifies MB 228.3. It keeps wear and deposits in check and is designed for extended drain intervals.

MB 228.3 is the only specification on the data sheet: the maker states that the oil meets its requirements, without an official approval. The data sheet gives no API or ACEA classes.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 93 mm²/s at 40 °C and 14.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 155, base number 11.1, pour point -36 °C, flash point 240 °C, density 880 kg/m³.

Application

Heavy-duty diesel engines in demanding conditions, particularly where the manufacturer specifies MB 228.3.
