Description

Eni i-Sigma performance CF HBN 15W-40 is an engine oil from the i-Sigma performance line for naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel engines in cars, trucks, buses, earth-moving and quarry machinery and generator sets. Its high base number is intended for high-sulphur fuel.

The oil is rated API CF-4, API SG, ACEA E2 and ACEA B2. It holds no official approvals; the maker states that it meets the requirements of MAN M 271, MB 228.1 and VW 505.00.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 14.4 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 135, base number 12, pour point -24 °C, flash point 220 °C.

Application

Naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel engines in cars, trucks, buses, earth-moving and quarry machinery and generator sets where a high-base-number oil is needed.
