Description

Eni Rotra ATF VI is a synthetic fluid from the Rotra ATF line for automatic gearboxes in cars and trucks. It has a reduced viscosity, resists foaming and damps shudder when the torque converter locks up.

The fluid carries no official approvals. According to its maker, it meets the requirements of GM Dexron VI, Ford MERCON LV and JASO 1A, and is backward compatible with gearboxes and power-steering systems specified for earlier generations of Dexron fluids.

Typical figures: viscosity 5.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 150, pour point -54 °C, flash point 180 °C, density 850 kg/m³ and low-temperature viscosity 10,400 mPa·s at -40 °C.

Application

Automatic gearboxes in cars and trucks that require a Dexron VI fluid, as well as units and power-steering systems designed for earlier generations of that specification.
