Description

Eni Rotra MP 80W-90 is a gear oil from the Rotra line for hypoid axles and heavily loaded gears in cars, trucks, tractors and earth-moving machines. Its extreme-pressure additive package is designed for high tooth-contact pressures.

It meets API GL-5 and MIL-L-2105D, and holds official MAN 342 Type M2 and ZF TE-ML 05A, 12E, 16B, 17B, 19B and 21A approvals. It meets the requirements of MAN 342 Type M1, ZF TE-ML 07A and ZF TE-ML 08 without formal approval.

Typical figures: viscosity 151 mm²/s at 40 °C and 15.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 105, pour point -30 °C, flash point 200 °C, density 905 kg/m³ and low-temperature viscosity 145,000 mPa·s at -26 °C.

Application

Heavily loaded hypoid axles and gear units in cars, trucks, and agricultural and earth-moving machinery where API GL-5 is specified.
