Description

Eni Rotra 80W-90 is a mineral gear oil from the Rotra line for moderately loaded gear trains without hypoid gearing, including the transaxles of front-wheel-drive cars with a transverse engine. Its anti-wear additive does not corrode steel or copper.

The oil is rated API GL-3; it holds no official carmaker approvals.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 14.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 100, pour point -30 °C, flash point 250 °C, density 895 kg/m³ and low-temperature viscosity 130,000 mPa·s at -26 °C.

Application

Transaxles without hypoid gears (for example in front-wheel-drive cars with a transverse engine) and other moderately loaded gear trains for which API GL-3 is specified.
