Description

Aral HighTronic J 5W-30 is a synthetic-based, low-ash engine oil for petrol and diesel engines in passenger cars. Its low sulphated ash content reduces the build-up of ash in the particulate filter.

It is classified ACEA C2 and holds official PSA B71 2290 approval for Peugeot and Citroën cars; it meets the requirements of Fiat 9.55535-S1 without formal approval.

Typical figures from the data sheet: kinematic viscosity 9.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 172, pour point -39 °C, flash point 220 °C, sulphated ash 0.56 %. Pack sizes from 1 to 208 litres.

Application

Petrol and diesel engines, especially those with a particulate filter, that call for ACEA C2 or PSA B71 2290 (Peugeot, Citroën), and engines requiring Fiat 9.55535-S1.
