Description

Motul SPECIFIC 2290 5W-30 is a fully synthetic, fuel-saving engine oil from the Specific line, developed around a single car maker's standard. It is intended for Peugeot, Citroen and DS petrol engines and HDi diesels, with or without a particulate filter.

The oil is rated ACEA C2 and holds official PSA B71 2290 approval. Its low sulphated ash makes it compatible with particulate filters, and its reduced HTHS viscosity lowers fuel consumption.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 9.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 174, HTHS 3 mPa·s, pour point -42 °C, base number 6.6 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 0.49 %. Available in 1 and 20 litres.

Application

Peugeot, Citroen and DS petrol engines and HDi diesels, with or without a particulate filter, where the manufacturer requires an oil with PSA B71 2290 approval.
