Description

Aral HighTronic R 5W-30 is a synthetic-based, low-ash engine oil intended primarily for passenger-car diesel engines fitted with a particulate filter. Its low sulphated ash content helps the filter to stay effective.

It is classified ACEA C4 and holds official Renault RN0720 and MB 226.51 approvals.

Typical figures from the data sheet: kinematic viscosity 12.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 171, pour point -45 °C, flash point 238 °C, sulphated ash 0.5 %. Pack sizes from 1 to 208 litres.

Application

Diesel engines, especially those with a particulate filter, that call for ACEA C4, including Renault diesels requiring RN0720 and Mercedes-Benz engines requiring MB 226.51.
