Description
BP Energear 80W-90 is a multigrade gear oil from the Energear line for manual gearboxes and other transmission units. In cold weather it makes gear changes easier than a monograde oil does.
It is rated API GL-4 and carries no official carmaker approvals.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 13.9 mm²/s at 100 °C and 142 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 101, pour point -30 °C, flash point 234 °C, Brookfield viscosity at -26 °C 120,000 mPa·s.
