Description

BP Vanellus Monograde 30 is a single-grade engine oil from the Vanellus line for diesel engines in commercial vehicles and machinery. BP also allows it to be used in gearboxes and hydraulic circuits wherever an SAE 30 engine oil is specified for them.

It is classified to API CF; the data sheet lists no official vehicle manufacturer approvals.

Typical figures from the data sheet: kinematic viscosity 10.2 mm²/s at 100 °C and 83 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 102, pour point -36 °C, flash point 215 °C, base number 6.1 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 0.75 %.

Application

Diesel engines that call for a monograde SAE 30 oil to API CF; also gearboxes and hydraulic circuits where the equipment maker specifies an SAE 30 engine oil.
