Description

BP Visco 2000 20W-50 is a high-viscosity engine oil from the Visco 2000 line, intended for petrol engines of older design.

It is classified to API SG only, a category long since superseded by newer petrol categories. It therefore belongs only in engines whose maker specifies API SG or an even older class. The data sheet lists no ACEA classes and no official vehicle manufacturer approvals.

Typical figures from the data sheet: kinematic viscosity 19.3 mm²/s at 100 °C and 171 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 130, pour point -30 °C, flash point 209 °C, sulphated ash 0.77 %.
